Kiyah

Here are some pics I took of her.

She is 8 months already.

Each holiday of her first year...
Mommy makes and gives her special little keepsakes.

I am putting it all together in a little chest for her to have later in life- from Mommy. :)

So for this Halloween
I am saving her costume and I gave her this witch collectable keepsake.

She is a little girl witch (so cute)
holding up this little star above her head ( so like her first Halloween )

And since I was asked a lot where I got everything-I'll just tell ya :) I love sharing a good thing!

Shoes (this lady hand makes them-so cute) Sweet hearts and soles
pettiskirt Sydneys bowtique
onsie Sassy Babies "lil witchy"
Headband I made
and leggings I sell from my baby boutique.
I just make them from my home like a lot of people do!
But I sure have a passion for finding all the cute stuff!
And yeah-
I use the big shot!!!! :):)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Wrapping up a fun HOLIDAY Weekend

Here is a picture of our little fam.:)
All dressed up!!! Well...okay...my hubby is a total slacker-he was saying
" babe what should I be?" As we were grabbing purses, diaper bags and walking out to the car!!!
literally! l.o.l.

But before going to our party we stopped by my parents so they could see the girls"witchy costumes"!

Then off again to our good friends The Tebbs. If you know them-you know they know how to throw a great party!
And that they looove Halloween!
They have an awesome Halloween Party every year and it is always a blast to come to!!
And by the way Miss Ivy is a fantastic decorator. Her home looked supurb!
It was all decorated to the hilt!
So I had to take pics!!!!

She hand made that cute Halloween countdown calender in the pics.
Each little detail was hand stitched with sequins...it is one of
the cutest I've seen!! All made from felt.

I think it is obvious in the pic who they were!
They always do a couple costume some how-I love it...so cute!

Hey bloggies!:)

So I was surfing the net for party favor ideas
and I found this shoe!!

It is sooo cute in person!
And what's so FUN about it,
is it can be used in different ways!
Like a glass slipper for a Cinderella party
or
just a cute heel for a girls night out type of schmoogle or
whatever!!
lovin it!

Ooo... I so am loving our ANTIQUE BRADS
and
SHARD GLITTER!

Wanna make this cute little shoe?

I found the tutorial at a lovey site full of all kinds of ideas!

Helpful hints:
I found some tulle I liked from the fabric store. It had some glitteries in it :)!

I sewed a line-super simple. Then trimmed off the ends with my pinking shears!

So Sweet! Cherry On Top Award

Oh this totally brought a smile to my face! And made me happy.
To see that I got this award from a blog friend who's work I love and adore!
Rose

For this award, I need to share 3 things about myself
and then pass it on to 5 blogs.

Mmm...

I will make it hard on myself and not mention things Arts/n Crafts.

1. I am obsessed with holidays! Birthdays and Special Occasions.
I think I just love the excuse to spoil, do something fun, or carry out an old tradition.

2. I love to clean. I know strange. But man I stare for a while at a room I just cleaned and it's refreshing!!

3. I like health food. My friends all tease me about a drink I drink every day. They call it the swamp drink!
Hey...It's fully loaded with vitamins and nutrients-and yes it does taste nasty-but I don't care! :)
And don't worry...I do eat chocolate n stuff at times...but I really enjoy healthy foods.

OK, so I'm passing this award onto 5 very talented ladies:

Laura-A day in the life of the paper poppy

Stacey- Stacey's Stamping Stage

Jo-Stampin'n Stuff

Jamie-Shabby Horse

Monica-My many, many passions

Have a fabulous week bloggies!!

Card Club project

Here is just one of the fun things the gals got to make
at this months CARD CLUB.
We made a coordinating Scull tag to go with-and added some ribbon!

I found these cool plates and picked up a pile of em! Mostly for my card clubbetts
They are perfect to deliver your holiday party treats on-or just give away to your BFF's!

I also made this yummy treat for the gals that night.
This is one of my fave recipes I'm gonna share with ya!
They come out great every time!

PUMPKIN BARS:

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. pumpkin I like (Libby's Best ) brand
3 heaping Tb. of applesauce
2 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. cinnamon

DIRECTIONS: Do wet ingredients first then add dry. Spray pan ( large sheet cake pan ) with non stick spray.Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes ( figure out for your oven)After it cools and I usually put a towel over after it has been out of the oven at least 15 min. Just to lock all that moisture in!
Add cream cheese frosting.I use and looove for this the PILLSBURY creamy supreme cream cheese. Or homemade.
Sprinkle with pretties ( sugar crystals ) and your done!

Here Sheila!! :) the recipe... finally...:)
and Jill...nevermind l.o.l..........No more!!!!!

Ha!!

Thanks for lookin! TOODLES!!!

Hostess Gift

Playing with the BIG SHOT again...

I made this recently as a hostess gift for one of my Hostesses.

I had to try it out-The idea is from the new Idea Book and Catalog!
I am loving all the inspiration in it!!!

BIG SHOT

Scallop Square die
Island Floral die
Circles #2 die

Oh my goodness and these buttons are so chunky yum!
I am lovin-em!
They are in the mini catalog
48 different buttons! For 8.95

HOW I MADE IT:
1. Cut out 2 scallop squares
2. Cut out your flower layers I did around 5
3. Cut out your circle center.
4. stitch around the circle center to the flower layers
5. Hand stitch embroidery floss around to secure your button and your flower layers together.
6. Stack your 2 scallop square layers-sew around edge.
7.Then sew around that same stitch again with Ric Rack or lace etc...leave a small opening to stuff
I used flax seed for this to stuff it. I like the weight.
All done!
