French Foliage Card

I just love this new set FRENCH FOLIAGE

The leaf images are so Gorgeous and so real!

Okay I've decided one of my favorite things I like to incorporate when designing
or making something is...TEXTURE
So-yep you guessed it. I get EVERY embossing folder we carry. Or at least WANT them all!
because I just still go nuts when I pull off my crisp deeply embossed piece of paper!
Yummy!! It adds so much dimension and interest to your projects!!

Here I used our WOOD SHEETS. It is actually wood paper. You can see the
grain in the paper!! A bit thicker than
card stock and so FUN to work with!

Helpful Hints:
This card was super easy to make. I stamped my leaf images in
Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, and Old Olive. The (wording) stamped image is in the Early Espresso
And the Gratitude strip is from the stamp set SEASONAL SENTIMENTS in Cherry Cobbler.
Oh yeah and then I used my COLOR SPRITZER with Early Espresso ink!
Embossing folder SQUARE LATTICE

Although
this does not have to be I think this makes for a great masculine card.
Yep-I need to give this to my hubby:)

Thanks for stopping by today!

  2. Wowza! Gorgeous card. The texture adds so much. I need to be like you and use more of my embossing folders. They're just collecting dust...poor things. Thanks for sharing your great works of art!
